Lambda Legal Tells ‘New Jersey Love Story,’ Celebrates Couple Married After 40 Years:
A new video from Lambda Legal shares the story of Cindy Meneghin and Maureen Kilian, two women who met their junior year of high school and have been together since, a total of over forty years. Cindy and Maureen were one of six couples originally contacted to join the fight for same-sex marriage as plaintiffs alongside Lambda Legal. Now, they are legally married in the state of New Jersey. In the video, the couple recounts the first time they met, their difficulty acquiring a marriage license over a decade ago, and the joy they felt as they finally signed the papers.
Congratulations to Cindy and Maureen, as well as to all the other couples benefiting from the recent same-sex marriage ruling in the Garden State!
The long-awaited return for Bel Ami’s pornstar Lukas Ridgeston is here with the movie “Forever Lukas”. One of the scenes is a three-way with Kris Evans, Jack Harrer and Lukas himself. They call it already the three-way of the decade and it is a pretty hot one. But what would you expect with three hunks together having horny fun. With his 40 years old Lukas can still compete with the younger guys and looks hot as hell.
We can say now “Aloha” to gay marriages in Hawaii. The vote came after several hours of debate in a special legislative session called by Governor Neil Abercrombie. The bill will now move on to the House for debate. If any amendments are made to the bill in the House, it would have to come back to the Senate for review before moving to Gov. Neil Abercrombie for his signature. Hawaii is one of several states that have seen movement on gay marriage since.

Showqueen ZsaZsa Lamor enters in Belgium Got’s Talent as a stand-up comedian like the great Dame Edna. And this lady is a great one too, she can entertain and says what she thinks. She brings it with confidence and humor next to a dashing, sparkling costume with lots of glitter, glamour and feathers like a true showqueen. She got through the audition and will now be in the live shows. Will she be the Dame Edna of the BENELUX? Will she be the winner of this year’s season of Belgium’s Got Talent? We will see, but she got our attention already. And if you want to see her and her girls live, just visit the show restaurant Mas’kara for a great evening with food, drinks and live entertainment.
BUTT of the week: Actor ZAC EFRON
Thousands Turn Out for LGBT Pride March in Taipei, Taiwan.
An estimated 60,000 attendees took to Taipei’s streets to celebrate what is being called Asia’s biggest gay pride event. Taiwan Pride is the biggest in Asia because of our accepting social atmosphere. Taiwan’s legislature began a review of a gay marriage bill, which has the support of 53 percent of the public, though acceptance of a gay family member remains low.Chinese families are still very traditional, people still emphasize having an heir and passing on the family name. On a cool autumn day, the 11th annual parade was marked by colorful costumes, plenty of exposed skin, musical performances and vendors lining the route to and from the city hall.
Project Runway alum Jack Mackenroth launches HIV EQUAL campaign aimed at ending HIV stigma. Jack has joined with photographer Thomas Evans and Connecticut-based World Health Clinicians (WHC) to launch a new social media campaign, “HIV Equal,” aimed at fighting the stigma surrounding HIV and encouraging people to get tested and know their status. Mackenroth, who has been HIV positive for twenty-four years says “Our goal is to photograph people from all walks of life who support ending HIV stigma, regardless of their personal HIV status. We launched the campaign with celebrities, politicians, artists and many recognizable faces in order to draw attention to our mission, but we plan to include everyone since HIV affects us all”.
More than just assigning people with labels of “negative” and “positive,” “HIV Equal” highlights what people believe to be “a positive attribute that they see about themselves”.Regardless of their HIV status everybody are equally valuable human beings.

Yesterday the 2nd of April was the offical press showcase of a "new" magazine in Belgium. Almost new because it is a combined magazine from the in 1997 started Dutch version of Gay&Night and the already existing for 20 years Zizo from Belgium. Not only it is renewed but it is now also free. In about 100 gay-minded places like clubs, saunas, bookstores and pubs you can find it there and start reading the stuff that will interest you.... I was invited and off course Pink In Our Lives has to keep you posted and tell you all about it. I must admit with a pink blush of shame on my face that Zizo magazine only came to my attention a few months ago. I have seen it before, but I never looked into it. I thought it was for lesbians, so what could I do with it??? I go for meat and not for fish.....;o) Goes to show that you should never judge a book by it's cover (Although the "cover" of cute boys makes me wanna know afterwards at breakfast, if the inside has something to say too LOL) After reading it, I found out that they have very good well-written articles and it is different from other "gay" magazines. Gay&night as a Dutchie myself I knew already and it is great that they are going to have a Belgian version too. Especially because these magazines are made with heart, soul and dedication and that is showing. They keep it also free through advertisement and sponsors, which makes it more accessible for everybody and leaves you more money to drink ;-) My boyfriend (writer of Demanding blog) as my plus 1 off course and I walked in the Bonaparte where the launch was presented. Immediately a few familiar faces from the gayscene were present and with a glass of sparkling wine we mingled and got a glimpse already of what the first "new" issues would look like. The two guys both named Martijn, editors of the Dutch Gay&Night magazine were here from Amsterdam to show the collaboration with the Flemish magazine Zizo. I knew them already because they stayed in Dekeyser Hotel, where I work and their graphic designer made a great advertisement for us. So it was great to see these guys again and we made a promise to show them around Antwerp next time with at least a visit to Mas'kara (check out the blog article "Don't be a drag, just be a Queen" for more information about this ambiance restaurant) With more sparkling wine the time flies, and also it became time for the official presentation. It was a short presentation, but the magazine should speak for itself. It is informative, good looking and entertaining (hmm mirror mirror on the wall, which blog has also this all LOL) People from different gayplaces like Bookstore Het Verschil, Sauna Kouros, Gaydiscotheque Red & Blue, Archer and ambassador for the World Outgames 2013 in Antwerp Ivan Dennis and the contestants of Mr.Gay Flanders were present. And let's not forget Dimitri Vantomme who made his venue Bonaparte available for the presentation. With editions of Pannekoek, Shine, Wave, the gaypride and the new concept Kaffee Sjokolat Dimitri does a lot for the gay community in Belgium. The 12 contestants of Mr.Gay Flanders are also the cover of the first issue, so let's give up your votes please!!! So if you have stopped flirting, looking at boys or girls, drying yourself with a towel from the sauna or when you are having a drink, just pick up the magazine and enjoy it. It is free and easy to put in your Louis Vuitton bag on your way to the next Botox-clinic or rehab center ;-) Pink in our lives wishes them a big succes, but also lots of creative thinking for making every month a great magazine. A magazine for all generations, for boys and girls and something to satisfy each and everyone of us. Have a Pink day and keep on reading!!! Big kiss, Lesley
That is why we have this section to tell you all about the beautiful places or where you can find great entertainment in our world. Off course we choose this all for the gay public, but it has to be straight friendly as well. We want a free and tolerant environment, where diversity and respect are highly valued. No prejudice to the straight people…… they were also born this way LOL
This time we have chosen for you the ambiance restaurant Mas’kara in Belgium. This restaurant is already well-known in the citylife of Antwerp. They were honoured in 2007 and 2008 for Best Entertainment Restaurant in Belgium. They offer you a total package with nice food, drinks, a great show and dancing. Mas’kara is definitely the place to be for a amazing Friday or Saturday evening full entertainment. A night you will never forget.
Last monday on the 28th of january it was the annual monday night in January where all the restaurants or pubs come to Mas’kara . These people can’t come on a Friday or Saturday to this ambiance restaurant and this evening is especially organized for them. This place exists almost for eleven years now, even during the time of crisis in Belgium. People can enjoy a good entertaining show with the finest showqueens and after that enjoy a great dance night with the DJ of the house. This Monday came 234 people watching their show (A full house) and it was like everytime a good show. We always go with a bunch of friends at least to these nights in January and in June and sometimes in between too. Every half year they bring a new show with performances of the best showqueens. They entertain you with look-a-likes, dance tunes, ballads and humor. Even the great leading lady and part owner Zsa Zsa Lamore gives up a stand-up comedian act that leaves the crowd with rolling tears of laughter down their cheeks. The way she tells the stories or jokes is in a way that no other showqueen does. She does not spare off course any of the guests with witty comments, rough language and obscene gestures, but it is all part of the act. You will love it!!!
Normally there are always three other “ladies” who join her on stage, but this time they had a special guest for the evening. Most guests on this monday night know her too, but for the reason that she had moved to London two years ago, nobody could have guessed that she was here. Yana international ( winner of the showqueen awards in 2008 and here on your left) came on stage and she did an outstanding performance with a number from the musical Sunset Boulevard. She was overwhelmed herself for all the attention and applause. She was glad to came back for this from London. And we were also happy to see her again too!!!
The other girls on stage were:
Star (here on your right): she did a great performance of Kylie and even a number of Lady Gaga starting with a piano on stage. Star is for almost eleven years also the regular understudy ,when another girl is sick or on vacation. She is a girl, who can entertain in various ways.
Sederginneke ( here on your left): a “girl” who is only 19 years old with a big mouth (literally). She brings a lot of laughs to the stage with her numbers. A special credit to her for this Monday, because she was still doing her acts, even though she had hurt her ankle on vacation in Thailand two weeks before. Hooray for the painkillers and that she could have been on stage ;-) It was hilarious.
Tonight also Vanessa Van Cartier (here on your right) shined on stage with numbers from Gladys Knight and Madame Butterfly. Vanessa was in 2010 miss of all misses showqueens in Belgium and she brings a variety of acts with lots of sparkle, glitter and glamour. She rocked the house and is terrific in everything she does.
This night she was not here, but from February the legendary drag queen will come back in Mas’kara: Liz Harley (here on your left). She is well- known for her superb and extravagant and mostly revealing outfits and her crazy rock on performances. Her husband Fernando and she are the other co-owners of this great venue.
And off course the leading lady of the house Zsa Zsa will not only welcome you when you arrive, but also talks the show like a perfect host through perfection. She is a real diva and well known in Antwerp and abroad. She is soon 20 year performing of stage, she acts, she can tell jokes, she can move ( a great persiflage of Gangnam Style on this night), she gives a lot of different acts and make the stage always her own. Most fear her, but she has a heart of gold. She gives it to the audiences straight and that makes that a lot of people always come back and enjoy the show. Not only Belgium people visit this dinner spectacle, but they have visitors from The Netherlands, Germans, English and even from the States who enjoy a good night out.
This ambiance restaurant can’ t survive offcourse without their whole staff and should get some extra credits too. Not only the great show, but also the female cook and great service of the waiters and bar staff make this venue a perfect night out for you to enjoy. So it is no surprise that a lot of bachelor parties, companies or just good friends come here for a night full of laughter and entertainment. They even had some weddings organized over there. The showqueens also perform outside Mas’kara and you can find them on studio 54 ( http://www.redandblue.be/studio54 ), in the gay discotheque red and blue (http://www.redandblue.be), Gay pride Antwerp of in most of the other gay pubs or clubs.
We were the last persons to leave last Monday and we had a great time from beginning to end with our bunch of 22 friends. These nights gather so many people every year and the crowd gets bigger and bigger. The fun starts already on these special nights with seeing all the friends together. One big gay family!!! With the drinks coming… and coming…. and coming next to a very naughty dessert (see picture), we had a fabulous time. Almost at the end the leading lady always asks if we want an extra number and before that she tells a little story. All though I have heard it so many times, it gives me goosebumps over and over again. But it is definitely the truth.
“There are so many wrong things happening on this earth, like 9/11, killings, rapes, bombing and child molesting. But one thing you can say about it, it was never done by a gay person. So when somebody still say homophobic remarks or kill the gays, please tell everybody about this evening and tell them that the gays are not that bad at all. Thank you and good night”
And then always starts the never boring end of the show. One of the showqueens Star start undressing and removing his wig and make –up to changing himself into the man he is on the song I am who I am !!!. Everybody gets in the mood with this final act and nobody was ready to go home immediately. So we didn’t ;-) ;-) ;-)
So whenever you are in Antwerp/Belgium and you have the time, you should visit Mas’kara in Borsbeek/Belgium. See website for more information: http://www.mask-ara.be/
A last special message will go out today to Zsa Zsa Lamore AKA Danny Calander, because on the day we post this he will also be celebrating his birthday today. Congratulations and many more great years to come!!!
