Adult Film Star and director Blue Blake was found dead In London last Monday at the age of 52. Friends of him hadn’t heard of him in a while, so a couple went round on Monday night the 12th of October and let themselves in. They discovered the body in a chair and immediately called 999.
The Police of London has confirmed to LGBT website “Gay Star News” that they are not investigating and are not ruling the death at this time as suspicious.
Blue Blake was born on July 14, 1963 in London, England as Glenn Marsh. Before becoming a porn actor, Blake, originally from Nottingham, was a Royal Marine, and studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. He ran his own Porn Production Company “Big Blue Productions” and he published an autobiography in September 2008, titled ‘Out of the Blue: Confessions of an Unlikely Porn Star”.
The ex-Royal Marine first appeared on the American XXX scene after winning the Mr. Drummer UK title as one of Colts models together with his brother Gage. The two musclemen appeared together in the movie ” The Blake Twins: Raw and Uncut” for Palm Drive Studio. Blue was then approached by the Tom of Finland Company to star in a movie based on the drawings of Tom. He accepted and story was made.
He retired from the adult film industry in 1999 and toured America with the hit comedy “Making Porn” alongside Ryan Idol and Rex Chandler. He then founded his own production company, Big Blue Production Inc. and set about writing , producing and directing adult movies. His first film “Demolition Daddy” (2000) starring his friend Paul Carrigan, earned 5 GayVN nominations, including Best Director. Followed by “Married Cops Do”, one of the biggest selling movies of 2001.
As producer/director he has directed several other successful videos, and promoted the career of one of the new stars of the porn film industry, Caesar. Blue Blake has appeared as himself in the mock documentary on the adult film world together with several other porn stars and directors, * Full Frontal* directed by Kyle Schickner. He directed 12 movies like “Cowboys” and “Married Cops Do” and performed in at least 21 movies like “Blow Me Down” and “Men In Blue”. He won in 1999 The Grabby Award for Best Dramatic Actor in “Men In Blue” and in 2008 he won the Wall Of Fame and in 2005 he won the Hall Of Fame at the GayVN Awards.
