Actor Jesse Williams is the talk of the internet this week after a raunchy clip from his new Broadway show went viral on Twitter.

Jesse Wesley Williams born August 5, 1981 is a former high school teacher and activist turned actor/director. He’s best known for his role as Dr. Jackson Avery on the ABC Television series “Grey’s Anatomy” and his advocacy for the disenfranchised, highlighted by his internationally resonant acceptance speech for his 2016 BET Humanitarian Award. He also appears in the hit 2013 film Lee Daniels’ “The Butler” as real life civil rights leader Rev. James Lawson. Previous roles include Holden in “The Cabin in the Woods” (2012), Officer Eddie Quinlan in “Brooklyn’s Finest” (2009), as Leo, Lena’s boyfriend, in the film sequel “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2” (2008) and as Isaac “Ike” Singer in “Jacob’s Ladder” (2019).

The former Grey’s Anatomy star quit the show in 2021 after playing Jackson Avery for over a decade and made his theatre debut in a revival of the Broadway production “Take Me Out”.

The hunky star is not a stranger to shirtless scenes but for the role, he has to strip down on stage and a clip of the explicit show, which started on New York’s Broadway in April 2022, has sent fans wild and we understand why! DAMN BOY!!!

After quitting Greys Anatomy, the 40-year-old revealed that he was set to take on the lead role in the revival of the stage show “Take Me Out”. The production follows the story of a baseball player called Darren Lemming, played by Jesse, who reveals he is gay and is met with huge prejudices from his teammates.

In one scene, the actor has to get fully naked in front of the audience, which he revealed was “terrifying” in an interview on The Ellen Degeneres Show last June.

“The character does call for a little bit of nudity, so what I will say about that is it’s terrifying in all the right ways. I’m looking to be challenged in new ways. To be scared and excited and be pushed. One of the beautiful things about the job I’ve had for so long is the comfort it creates. So, I’m excited to do something new”.
