A BITE OUT OF OUR PINK WORLD www.pinkinourlives.com
The 2016 Olympics in RIO are over and our LGBTI community from all over the world were presented in so many different areas of Sports. Thanks to all the athletes who gave their best and showed that they are just like anybody else!!!
At least 53 out athletes that we know of who were competing, as well as three coaches. There are 42 lesbian or bi women, 11 gay men and no out transgender Olympians. Several out athletes were also qualified for the Paralympics. There were a record of 11 publicly out male athletes, though none are from the U.S. There is also one married couple, Helen Richardson-Walsh and Kate Richardson-Walsh, British field hockey players. There were no openly transgender athletes competing in Rio.
25 of the 53 publicly out athletes,a full 47%, won a medal, including 10 athletes winning gold. There are a record number of openly LGBT Olympians in Rio, including more men than ever. But none of them is a U.S. man.

Besides all of them it was also nice to view some of the hot athletes going at it and made us watch these 2016 Olympics. Here is our top 7 in no particular order:
1) Hiroki Ogita, Japanese pole vaulter’s Olympic dream crushed because his own penis knocked the bar off:
2) Rio Olympics’ shining star! Tonga’s topless flag bearer Pita Taufatofua stole the show at the Opening Ceremony
3) Olympic swimmer Amini Fonua enjoys being an out gay man in swimming, and he proudly wears the label on his swimsuit. That’s the kind of attitude and visibility that helps make it so much easier for the next person to come out.
4) Check out Judo fighter Celio Dias from Portugal naked!
5) British race walker Tom Bosworth finished 6th in the 20K final, setting a personal best and a British record. But the Gay Olympian Tom Bosworth also got engaged in #Rio2016 when he proposed at the beach!!! (he said yes).
6) Two time silver medalist Danell Leyva went rogue and stripped down during a Rio routine!!!
7) Accidental Censorship Of Olympic Divers Makes Them All Look Like Porn Stars:
