Antwerp Pride will also start this year on Wednesday, August 7, at the Open Air Theater Ter Rivierenhof. With a new format full of celebration and much young talent, we kick off Antwerp Pride.  

Expect performances by Dr. T & Laurens Luyten, Aurélie, Mandy McCandy, Rose Cohen, Red Sebastian, and Billy Jean. InTeam Productions will offer a preview of their new musical Kinky Boots, and Ivann returns to Antwerp Pride with his Tribute to George Michael.  

We maintain the ‘Pay What You Can’ principle, allowing you to set your price. The base price is €16. If a lower rate makes it easier for you to attend, you are free to choose it. If you choose the higher ticket price, you help Antwerp Pride keep the barrier low for others.

New this year is that the Antwerp Pride Parade will be broadcast live thanks to a collaboration with ATV and Proximus. Besides ATV and Proximus Pickx, the images will also be streamed on platforms: GoPlay, OUTtv, GVA, VTM GO, VRT MAX, HLN, and De Morgen. Thanks to this pax media, the parade will be broadcast throughout Flanders.  

The Parade traditionally takes place on Saturday, August 10. Participants will gather again at Sint-Jansplein, and the Parade will start at 2 PM from Oude Leeuwenrui towards the Scheldekaaien to the festival site at Cockerillkaai, where the Love United Festival will take place until midnight.

During Beyond Antwerp Pride, we spotlight the Many Voices within our community: the rich LGBTQIA+ association life in Antwerp. We bundle various activities on one Sunday afternoon (August 4). Expect fascinating conversations, inspiring workshops, and exciting encounters.

It goes without saying that important elections are coming up in October. On Friday, August 9, we will also organize a debate with party leaders to delve deeper into questions about how we can make our city an even better place. Dave Sinardet will moderate the debate. 

Beyond Antwerp Pride and the debate will take place at Play Zuid.

Pride in Town also returns. With Pride in Town, we create a place for those who do not enjoy the large party atmosphere. On Sint-Andriesplaats, you can attend performances from 6 PM on Friday, August 9, by, among others: DROM, Jaouad Alloul & Alexander Piper, and atmospheric DJ sets by Gisgawa ft. MC Lyp’s and Ilse Liebens.

The Love United Festival will again take place this year at the Scheldekaaien at Ledeganckkaai and Cockerillkaai, starting at 3 PM. Various DJs will perform on two stages, including KroesControl, DJ Preztone, DJ Digna, 5napback, Arthur Lewis, Leroy, Donna Bummer, Pop Rules, AM2PM, Yellant, Laurens Luyten, and also Discobar Joossens featuring MC Spaghetti aka Koen Crucke. The party will last until midnight, and entry is free.  

The Pride Village, where various LGBTQIA+ organizations present themselves, is also located on this festival site.  

On Sunday, the Closing Festival will take over the large festival site at the Scheldekaaien. From 2 PM to 11 PM, you can sing and dance along with great artists and a few guilty pleasures. Among the artists are: the queens of the Antwerp Show Ball led by Sederginne, Belle Perez, Pauline, Sven Ornelis, Cookies and Cream, and DJ Kat ft. Jessy. Of course, our partners will organize many official Pride parties in between. On Thursday evening, August 8, there is the traditional Midsummer Party at café Den Draak, which will also host an XXL Dragbingo on Friday, August 9. Twilight and Café Cock will organize another Roof of Love on Theaterplein. On Saturday night, there will be an extra spectacular edition of Woodpop at Waagnatie, as well as Oh Honey and many other parties at café DeLux, Jeffrey’s, Hessenhuis, Club Random, or Bonaparte.
