International Fisting Day May 5th.
New date to mark in your calendars: May 5 is now the International Fisting Day!
Founded by Fist Club Europe e.V., this day aims to bring more visibility, education, and acceptance to a practice that’s all about trust, intimacy, and freedom – especially within the gay community, but also beyond.
Why May 5? Easy: five fingers, double 5 – a powerful and clear symbol for a practice that deserves to be seen and respected.
Unlike the existing “International Fisting Day” in October (which focuses on censorship and porn representation), May 5 highlights the lived reality of fisting in our community: the culture, the connection, the diversity.
It’s not about competition — it’s about complementing. It’s about making space for open conversations, education on safety, hygiene, and consent, and celebrating sexual freedom without shame.
