As promised Pink In Our Lives will present the twelve candidates for Mister Gay Flanders 2015 in random order. As you could see on the press conference @ Red Star Line Museum (See article: http://pinkinourlives.com/2015/02/14/press-conference-mister-gay-flanders-2015/ ) 
There is a lot of diversity between the contestants and we are definitely looking forward to see who win the title and taking over the reign for a whole year from current title holder Willem Joris on the 30th of May 2015.
Every candidate got 5 questions from us to answer and you decide 
who you would love to win this year!!!
Wilbert Lacroes
is the third candidate in this series and he is 33 years old and living in Berchem. He works as a technician and he came out of the closet since 1992. He is the oldest of the twelve candidiates.
Hi Wilbert,
Why did you enter this competition and what do you want to 
achieve, when you become Mister Gay Flanders 2015? “The reason I entered this competition is trying to get to know the LGBT community better. I would like to achieve as a mister that us LGBT people can be free and walk normally on the streets, showing to people that we are not as bad as they think.”
What makes you different from the other 11 candidates?
“I am hot, sexy, exotic and with a beautiful caramel color and I have a fun personality. I am a social person with a soft character, but confident and with a lot of life experience.”
If you can compare yourself to an animal, what would you be and why?
“I will compare myself with a gorilla.”. Why? “I am big, strong and have strong character. I am a dominant type as well. I love hugging and I take care of the people that I like or love. I am a caring type, but also a beast in bed”.
Which person do you think is HOT/CUTE and would you love to get under the sheets with?
“I would like to end up in bed with Ricky Martin”. Why? “He is handsome, sexy and he oozes sex and fire. When I only hear his voice or see how he dances, I am already melting like an ice cube. He gives so much positive energy and he has a positive attitude as a person”.
What would you like to change in our LGBT-community and 
how would you like to accomplish that?
“That LGBT people should practice more safe sex during sex. Only by giving more information about HIV, giving free condoms in a nightclub and gay bars and informing parents about the gay world can be helpful. Because education always starts at home and parents can contribute their knowledge to their children to point out the dangerous things that can happen in a gay world as well.”
