Last Monday, the nominees for the 75th Tony Awards were announced. The ceremony will take place on June 12 on CBS and Paramount+.
The Tony Award nominations were announced Monday by the actors Adrienne Warren, who won a Tony Award for portraying Tina Turner in “Tina,” and Joshua Henry, a three-time Tony nominee, most recently for “Carousel.”
This year’s awards ceremony will take place on June 12 at Radio City Music Hall, and will feature two parts: a one-hour awards-focused segment streamed on Paramount+, which will be followed by a three-hour performance-heavy segment to be broadcast on television by CBS. It will be hosted by Ariana DeBose, who earlier this year won an Academy Award for “West Side Story.”
