Saturday 4 June, Utrecht will turn pink again when the Utrecht Canal Pride moves through the canals of the city!

Main sponsor of Utrecht Canal Pride 2022 “Vodafone Netherlands” will be showing the Real Models on digital screens in the city. In this way they want to offer young people in the LGBTI+ community the widest and most diverse picture possible of realistic role models. And the nice thing is: on this Saturday you coul model yourself in the campaign in one of Vodafone’s photo booths.

The first “real models” are employees from the Queers Connected community at VodafoneZiggo. Not models, but real people. From the community. Real role models. Each with their own energy, motivation and story to participate in this campaign. With their quote about what freedom means to them, they hope to inspire young people to be themselves too.

Will you be one of the “Real Models” at the Utrecht Canal Pride 2022 today? You can make your own poster at one of the photobooths at Stationsplein and Sint Jacobskerkhof! The campaign posters are visible on the digital screens in the city and in the Vodafone shops in Utrecht the same day.

The Utrecht Canal Pride 2022 campaign is “Just Be You!”!

Being allowed to celebrate who you are is quite unique in the world. The LGBTIQ+ community cannot show itself everywhere or make them feel heard. During the Utrecht Canal Pride they put every visitor, who supports the Pride in the spotlight, just like every partner, sponsor, participant, volunteer or other person or organization that supports Pride.

With their campaign “Just Be You”and “Real Models” they really want you to be fully yourself. Because, the world is the most beautiful when you are yourself and can be. just be you!!!
