Manager Nourdin Ben Sallem will be the new owner of Red & Blue
in Antwerp from now on!!!
He will take over the reign of former owner Ludo Smits (63). Ludo Smits, who started the club in 1997 and gave it the name Red & Blue, because of all the red and blue lights in the Red Light District in Antwerp where the club is located. Ludo decided to take a step back and slow it down in the nightclub scene and is passing over the torch to his current manager Nourdin.
Red & Blue is world-known of his legendary MEN-only parties as well as Studio54, Colorbar and Phil Collins Club! Organizer of many great parties and events like Navigaytion, Only White parties in Ostend and Knokke, Red & Blue’s Pink Monday
in Tilburg/Holland and even Studio54 parties in the big Antwerp Sport Palace for thousands of party animals!!! World’s greatest stars came to party in this club like Prince, Gloria Gaynor, Anastasia, Calvin Klein, Grace Jones, Kate Ryan, Craig David, Boney M. and many more…
From taking away the dirty glasses to being an owner
The story of Nourdin within the club reads like a storytelling book. He came first as a customer to the Studio54 parties 
and in December 2001 he started working in the club to clean up the dirty tables and for years after that he sat at the entrance to check everybody in and became a familiar face for Red & Blue. Slowly he became a part of the managementteam.
With the dismissal of the previous manager, Nourdin became the new manager and he gave a fresh breath to the club. After 5 years in this position he has now taken over the club Red & Blue.
NEW START!!!
With a new owner it means a new start as well. Nourdin is planning to make some major changes and restructering to survive in these difficult times
for the nightlife industry. In january the club will close for one week to do some necessary touch-ups in the club to keep it fresh again.
Existing concepts like “We Love Thursdays (WLT)
and first Sunday of the month disco party Studio 54
will stay on and also Men-Only concepts on Saturdays, but not on a regular basis anymore. There is place now for other concepts like Propaganda and Obscura (MEN-Only) and Woodpop, Twinkxx, Extravaganza and Unicorn, where everybody is welcome and it doesn’t matter if you are straight or gay!!! This year Red & Blue will be 19 years old so let’s celebrate it!!!
