Press Conference AntwerpPride 2022 #Queertopia #PinkInOurLives #PinkPress ?

The theme of Antwerp Pride this year is ‘Queertopia’, a unique future project to which every voice from the LGBTQIA+ community – and beyond – can contribute.

This year, that voice is confirmed by the major Flemish media groups. The fifteenth edition of Antwerp Pride will take place from 10 to 14 August. VRT, DPG Media, SBS Belgium, Mediahuis and OUTtv will celebrate love together on Saturday 13 August and jointly support the LGBTQIA+ community. Numerous television and radio faces, and employees will take part in the bustling parade in the heart of Antwerp on that day.

Unanimously they state the following:

“Although it should be self-evident today that everyone can choose freely when it comes to love, faith, identity and sexuality, we want to express our support for diversity, equality and inclusion. Together with the Antwerp Pride we embrace all people. We are already trying to reflect this warm, inclusive and positive society today: both in front of and behind the scenes. There is still work to be done, but it is our sincere ambition to always give a voice to all people, regardless of sexuality, position or belief and with respect for every talent. That doesn’t feel like an obligation, but it does feel like an incredibly beautiful privilege.”
