A gay version of the reality show “The Bachelor” is coming on LOGO television this week on the 8th of 
September with the hunky Robert Sepulveda Jr., an Atlanta-based interior designer. 
But without the roses and the women off course. The show is called “Finding Prince Charming” and 13 suitors will go for his love and hope to snatch him at the end of the show. We introduced him already in our last pink bit (see: https://pinkinourlives.com/2016/08/31/meet-prince-charming-robert-sepulveda-jr-pinkbits-pinkinourlives/)
On the show this hunky gay heartthrob Robert Sepulveda will have to eliminate one suitor each week. ‘I’m nervous about eliminating the guys because I know that everyone is trying to find love as well,’ he says. ‘And I’m very empathetic. I know I’m going to find somebody amazing.’
The show is hosted by Nsync-singer Lance Bass, who himself got married to handsome Michael 
Turchin this year. Lance has the role of giving advice and being a shoulder to cry on for the suitors competing for the affection of their dream guy, Robert. “You can’t force people to be friends, and that’s going to come out,” Bass explained about the show, “especially once feelings start happening for our Prince Charming. The claws are going to come out.”
While it’s nothing special to see housemates go at each other’s throats on reality dating shows, the same-sex element of Finding Prince Charming throws another wrench into things. “It’s a whole different ball game,” Bass said. “There’s a chance that these suitors might fall in love with each other, so there’s a whole extra element in this layer of uncertainty that could happen in this house.”
13 men will go after him and it’s a mixed bag of prospects, ranging from Sam, a Midwesterner with his 
own fitness company, to Charlie, a Wisconsin manny who’s been single for 26 years. But there is also a guy who is HIV-positive. The producers were aware of the yet- unknown cast member’s status the entire time, though the cast was not told of what was happening. Robert Sepulveda, Jr. also did not know immediately, although he was told relatively early on in the taping. Furthermore, the cast member’s HIV status reveal is set to be a major point in the show, which producers believe will be a meaningful and enlightening moment for both straight and gay viewers. Apparently emotions ran high and Robert was very supportive of the cast member. This could stand to become a very powerful, empowering reality TV moment and be ground-breaking TV in the United States.
