Today is the first night of 15 years Maskara with leading lady Zsa Zsa Lamore and her gurlllzzz. Last year she did her show the Sequel of 20 years Zsa Zsa Lamore, but now her spectacle restaurant is the main center of the attention. Last year our Shwoqueen reporter reviewed the show and we already gave you part one, but here is party two as a remembrance of the great show last year.
In part two we resume our “Sequel” experience after the luxurious VIP treatment with bubblish champagne and salted nuts. Hall lights turn down and a spotlight shines out into the darkness.Into this radiant shining we can see the beautiful silhouette from the Queen of La Bella Italia, Vanessa Van Cartier. A Queen she is, performing a lipsync-tastic version from Bond Songbird Gladys Knight. Even the tasteful hand gestures resemble Miss Knight in persona. Van Cartier is dressed in a beautiful gown, Pink with a thousand of rhinestones, and huge bouffant collar round the neck. It shows of even MORE her perfectly shaped body and legs coming through the enormous leg cleavage……semi Breathless Mahoney/Madonna in Dick Tracy. Of course, standing ovations for this Diva!!!
Zsa Zsa Lamor being a 80/90-ies girl, she can’t stay away from the flashy Technotronic hit, “Pump up the jam”. Seated at the front of the stairs, displaying with her longer then life legs in the minuscule dress and with red diamonds inlayed Mohawk headpiece. Making her moves at the beats from this classic! Her sexy muscular dancers, make this vision even more hotter then we can accept….gasping for oxygen while they displaying their 8-packs…how can a girl breath between these studs…? Zsa Zsa is a pro!!!
Zsa Zsa is being also joined by Flemish comedian Luc Caals in several stand-ups.
They have a very long friendship together and a special wish from Zsa Zsa was to be together again. (As the Mister Mac Duff in a Scottish Whiskey act etc.) Great Duo!
Special guest appearance Vanessa Van Cartier, gives a final solo performance while channeling her inner Scheherazade on the for the occasion remixed (by her husband DJ Stevie Mays for sure) version from “Harem” by musical star “Sarah Brightman”. La Cartier is displaying a barefoot dance like the seven Veils by Salome while approaching the centre of the stage. It’s whirlwind of veils, sparkling from her enormous crystal headpiece, who’s build up like enormous flames. The sexy dancers are taking this act into a higher level, with their shining and muscle build bodies!
And again, she gets a standing ovation by the audience, for the second time this evening.
Baccara….okay…..gay and Baccara….that’s a gay marriage right!
Meet the Baccara girls, Sacha Ryan and Sederginne.
On stage we see them both in glitzie and dazzzzling dresses performing, anything you can do…I can do better in front of the centre staged microphone. “Yes sir, I can boogie….Sorry I’m a lady….” But the duo become a hilarious bitchfight, while shoving and pushing them both around on the stage to get the microphone for themselves.
Ending Sederginne with the Voice from Belgium microphone! First time we see Sacha Ryan, out of her comfort zone, but I see certainly a path for her in comedy with her elastic and flexible sister Sederginne.
Zsa Zsa in her final act before the end is my personal favorite.
When she walks on the stage, in her working dress, and enormous beaded necklace, we know who’s on!!! “You still know me…..Maria from……” Audience screams out…”ALBERT HEYN!!!!”. (No darlings, not Maria Von Trapp that’s another Queen waiting to happen) Sadly Maria is no longer working at the Albert Heyn, but got fired after some loud mouthing with her boss…..Still she has no idea what came over her….! So now she’s looking for a new job and has been cruising her way for meetings at other supermarkets.
Being Maria/Zsa Zsa we can expect not one store to be safe on her, Maria knows what she wants! She’s SO my favorite character of the night!
Being a Miss Brown/Dame Edna! But then the parody in the extreme. This asks for a new Maria…after the 2.0 a 3.0 next time!!!
Star and Sacha Ryan, ending their last duo together with a fabulous Tina Turner slash Beyoncé medley. What’s love got to do with it, ending with Proud Mary. Not even Mary is proud on Star, but Tina would be….layering her outfits underneath the dresses, and dance moves that would give La Turner a hip replacement for sure. La Ryan with her sexy and curvy body is an epic Beyoncé, as we know her!
Lipsync-tastic, and twirling like a sexy bomb and taking the audience on to the last chapter of the night!
Ending the night with a blue version, medley from Kylie Minogue, for a every Showqueen a moment to shine again! Not True Blue, that’s for Madge! Vanessa van Cartier, (“Into the Blue…what’s in a name…. and better the Devil you know.”), Gigi Extravaganza with “Locomotion.” (Not a locomotion sweetie, you’re TGV and still class!) Sacha Ryan with “I should be so lucky”….(one of your best choices in the career is becoming a Maskara Girl, so lucky you ARE.)
Star with “What do I have to do….?” (Be a Star honey!)
Sederginne wearing a diaper like a baby Queen, with a feathered tiara and pulling a HUGE bear behind her…with “Tears on my pillow.”
Last but not least…. the centre of the attention and leading Queen of the Night, Zsa Zsa Lamor with the party Kylie song….”Celebration.” Slowly taking her staircase in a owl glass shaped gown, even shaping her fabulous body even more, designed by Marisa Allen. Blue with orange colors and even huger enormous feathered shoulder and head piece! Standing ovation!
Ending my review with a few personal last lines.
This is one of the best show ever seen on a International stage. If you haven’t been there, shame on you! A once in a lifetime experience!
Zsa Zsa Lamor is THE UBER Queen that can pull of a show like this.
Having comical skills, and a HUGE personality.
Not only it’s by working so hard…what she has done, as for this event, as if for everything, giving more than a 100 % and asks this also from her crew.
But also, because of her fans. We love Zsa Zsa, not only because of her humor etc. No, because she is real! On many, many, many more Sequels to come and all the best for Zsa Zsa Lamor, her crew, the Queens, the dancers and everybody who worked on this event.
Tomorrow evening we gonna witness the third great show 15 years Maskara with Zsa Zsa Lamore in zaal Elckerlyck. Pink In Our Lives look forward to enjoy a great evening with friend and we will definitely let you in on it of how it was.
