Nyle DiMarco has joined the cast of the Queer As Folk reboot. ??
DiMarco, who communicates using American Sign Language (ASL), made history as the first deaf contestant to win America’s Next Top Model in 2015 before going to become the first deaf winner of Dancing With the Stars a year later.
The reboot of Russell T Davies’ iconic show will centre around a group of friends living in New Orleans whose lives are impacted by a tragedy.
DiMarco, who has described himself as “sexually fluid”, tweeted his excitement: “Hyper excited about joining the Queer As Folk re-imagination along with the amazing cast and the incredible team behind this iconic show.”
The reboot is expected to air later this year.
