Actress Niecy Nash made a splash on social media after revealing the news that she is newly married to musician Jessica Betts.
Nash is seen wearing a figure-hugging strapless lace wedding gown while Betts wore a cream vest and matching slacks. The Claws actress proudly declared her new name, “Mrs. Carol Denise Betts” in the caption, along with the hashtag #LoveWins.
The surprise announcement was made via Instagram when Nash, 50, posted a photo of herself and her new wife walking down the aisle as a newly minted married couple.
Nash’s marriage news comes as a surprise to many, who had assumed she’d been single since 2019.
Nash was married to Don Nash from 1994 to 2007, and the pair share three children, Dominic, Donielle and Dia. She later married Jay Tucker in 2011 but the two divorced in March of this year.
Nash has been a very vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community through the years. In June, she penned a long Instagram post about limitations at the Supreme Court and later shared a photo of her in a rainbow shirt, writing, “Happy Pride!”
