Meet The Couple Tying The Knot In 24 Countries For Reasons Beyond Love!!!

As a performance piece, female art duo and lovers Fleur Pierets & Julian P. Boom are getting married in every country that recognizes same-sex marriage.
They started in New York for the pre-production of the project and the first wedding was officiated in September 2017 in New York and the second in Amsterdam. Tomorrow on the 21st of October they will get married for the country Belgium in Antwerp at Felix Pakhuis and being the third wedding in their journey.
At the end of the performance, an art/video installation will be exhibited for the first time. A book with all their adventures and a making-of documentary will follow. 
The masterpiece is called 22theproject. It is an art project that speaks of evolution and optimism. 22 celebrates the places that legalized gay marriage, and highlights the work that still needs to be done in the 170 countries that don’t.
The name stands for the 22 countries that allow same-sex couples to get married when Fleur and Julian started this project. Julian and Fleur will now attend 24 countries for making their wedding official, because it is also allowed in Malta and Germany since they started. At the current rate the LGBT community will reach global recognition of same-sex marriage in the year 2142. That’s 125 years from now and Fleur and Julian want to see if they can make history by moving it faster and hold people to a higher standard.
