With tomorrow evening “A night with Dina Delvaux”, the Miss Belgian Travestie of 2016 coming up like an annual event we want to look back at another event she organized in June last year. Because of obligations (A well-deserved sunny holiday ;p) we could not attend this evening called “Les Misses” ourselves, but off course our screaming Showqueen reporter on duty Christiaan D’Hooghe was there for Pink In Our Lives. Here is our Ruvealing night out by him.
“I sat down at a wonderful Showqueen Event in Lovendegem (B), named Les Misses!
This was the second time show in a row from Miss Dina Delvaux after her 
stepping down as Miss Belgian Travestie 2016. And again it shows that Dina is not a one day butterfly, but a Queen to stay!!! For the occasion La Delvaux came up with the idea gathering her former Miss Dragqueen colleagues over for a feast, to her hometown Lovendegem. And give her audience a onetime only event, with these girls!
Friendships are made for LIFE after you’ve won and shared the crown.
Entering the hall, one sees La Delvaux’s advertisement company did great work…..FULL HOUSE!!! I see the friends and fans, but also a lot of new people.
(Who ever says, Dragqueens are so 2016…..NOT….and OUT!!!)
Miss Dina Delvaux is a true and real pageant Queen, one who knows her from day one…like me…well, she is petite, a semi French girl. Has a hug and cuddle factor, but also beauty slash pageant queenism, and lot of charm. And what you see is what you get!
Showing herself a perfect host, while opening the event and also talking everything together. Her opening act is a true Delvaux one. Little body strassed from top to bottom and with a tons and tons of yellow/red feathers on her head. Dancing a semi Moulin Rouge style act, on “Why tell me why” from Anita Meyer.
During the show, she shines and lifts her audience to Heaven with the number “Red” #ROOD in an even more beautiful dress, showing leg, and twirling around. But also and that moment was very special, being her Miss Belgian Travestie farewell act from the event itself…”One moment in Time…”by Whitney Houston.
Being an artist and Showqueen is not always about enormous acts, 
when keeping it small, one can achieve a huge impact in the audience. Wearing a Dirk Vervoort golden gown, black feathered shoulder pads and a golden head/wig piece, standing in just the light in front of her microphone. That’s artistry!
I hear lots of sighs in the audience and even this Scream Queen gets goose bumps. (Where is the Kleenex?)
Time for her fellow Miss Belgian Travestie queens to enter the stage. The Showqueen with the MOST Sex appeal of all time stays Baby-V, no one can compete with her on that. Her looks are vampy with a certain sexy edginess to it. Showing a little more skin, bit more leg and more from everything.
That she was THE winner from her year, we can see this evening!
Her winning Kate Ryan act, wearing the skimpy little orange pants, leather jacket and purple hair, while taking her walk of fame through the audience is a blast from the past, 2012. Going from “Alive” to “Libertine” in, with her still PERFECT Sinerjey choreo….one never loses the flow….she slides into a 3 second wardrobe change.
Wearing the Eurovision Song contest Orange gown, and blond bobbed Kate Ryan hair cut.
In her ending year, La V gave a one moment LIVE performance with singer Funda, with a synchronic proof duo act. This time La V took down the act and in a itsy bitsy teenie weenie black Victoria Secrets bikini.
Again sex appeal, every guy gasps for breath when seeing her like this, right darlings. She grabs her audience with Funda’s number “Stand up….” Dancing skills in the pocket, and a killer workout FOREVAH, body…..VaVaVooooom! Can we get a LOUD applause on the golden bracelets honeys! And we LOVE Baby V.!!!!
In 2006 it was Miss Tiky Bayo, that became Belgium’s most beautiful girl. Sadly the news came out tonight, La Bayo will hang her tiara on the branches from the tree at the end of this year. So every performance is a goodbye. We know La Bayo as the Showqueen who adds dancing skills and catching choreo’s, combined with stunning outfits. This time she takes another road.
A unknown Edith Piaff Medley, just giving a hand, a sudden eye and even a pose raising the hand towards the sky. La Mommy herself…..that is pure artistry and takes guts. Her beehive hair, piled on top, and in a glitzing gown….she takes the spotlight and her fans with her. And from Diva to comic Queen is only a high heel away change, into crocks….yes darlings crocks….!!! (Swallow your sour!!!) Shirley Bassey herself, would and could lift a perfect sculpted eyebrow, on “This is My Life..” by La Bayo.
But no….This is great! On stage she becomes a mixture between Amy Winehouse and Mother Flodder….Utterly DRUNK as hell, walking between the audience in a in a leopard bathrobe, while drinking gallons of whiskey.
At the end she throws white powder (no real cocaine honeys, although in showbiz you’ll never know)….no darlings this is all FAKE….oO the stage and she becomes a human impersonation from a REAL Nilfisk Hoover, gliding her body over the white line while snorting the goods. A HUGE cheer from her audience!
Her leading Lady and colleague from Showqueen group “The Sparkling Diamonds”, Miss Iluna Lee, won her fabulous crown in the year 2011. She becomes a Hindi Princess in the Sertab song “Every way that I can”. The pink/purple veils surrounding the energy from her ringing bells, and we are transfixed, by the HUGE sparkling sun beamed crown she wears. Moving us with her truly stunning belly dancing!
La Lee of course is known for her comical talent, everybody who has seen her onstage knows this. Her SD colleague Tiky Bayo walks on the stage as Mega Mindy the Super star from Belgium television, full mask and all. (No honeys NOT fifty shades of grey, that’s another fetish.)
In the act Mega Mindy is being replaced by Maya The Bee….ever been stung by a bee, well that’s her. And there 
“flies” Iluna in a yellow/black striped especially ROUND-ish suit, with little antennas on her head. (I literally pied my pants, seeing these antennas….made it even more funny.) Eventually the battle between MegaMindy and Maya becomes Kung Fu fighting and live screaming from La Lee.
Costume change into a sexy Maya, bootie-swinging etc. But Mindy doesn’t approve, while taking Maya down, and she’s farting on her face…..okay….again it’s all showbiz darlings. No animals where hurt nor killed during this act! Best ever is the fact that Tiky grabs Iluna by her undies/thong and mopping the floor with her, while leaving the stage…..I truly heard the Iluna Lee 1000 decibels SCREAM, for long ringing in my ears!!!!
Miss Moonlight aka Leading Lady from “Les Femmes Unique” is in the HOUSE! One of her wonderful highlights is her Donna Summers/ERUPTION/Laura Brannigan medley. She boogies herself across the stage like no other wearing a huge afro wig, and prettier than ever (fluo pink) jumpsuit. She knows how to serve her audience, our Miss Moonlight. 
Years ago Moonlight inherited a beautiful black velvet strassed gown from Coco Chanel, who ever says “just” vintage is so passé…eat this gurlzzz….this is royalty vintage!!! La Moonlight shows her skills twirling her fabulous body, across the stage on a personal favorite of mine “One Night Only” by Dutch amazing singer Glennis Grace. Glennis would love it, I’m SURE!!!!
Then honeys to save the best for last!!!!
Reigning Miss Belgian Travestie 2017 Miss Stephany. She is a MULTI-TALENT!!!! What’s NOT been seen from 
her. Her entrance act “Woman’s got the strength” by Jennifer Holliday is already a classic, dance moves, giving hip and above all she becomes a human washing machine. Putting her head in centrifuging modus. Miele!!! A explosion of frizzlie curlies!!!
Then a new comical act….Mademoiselle Piqüre. Seriously her fans got completely mad on this act! Her miniskirt dress was already the hot-spot, but when she started spraying water with her syringes, the fun got even BETTER! Ha Ha! No more French bitch nurses…..no mon cheriiiiiies, with La Stephany, there’s no more pain. A personal favorite of mine, is her winning act from MTB, the 90-ies remix!
For the occasion trading her blond bombshell wig in for a ginger one, wearing the skintight Captain America suit. Showing off her longer then life legs in the kinky high heeled boots!!! She is a stage animal, booming the audience with her vibes!!! You see the routine, a deserved winner.
Inside joke….onetime Stephany performed in a very ancient church…with a lot of crosses on the walls. Never a cross came down…NEVER…in a hundred years….That night the cross fell down….! So again tonight crossing fingers! But Jesus stayed on his cross at this night…so in biblical sense….”He had seen, that it was GOOD!”
Overall conclusion on the night and this evening! It was fabulous!!!!! I had loads and loads of fun, diverse and high quality of Queen-ism. To bring talent and tiaras together is one thing, to make it work is another one. In a blink of an eye had a moment….this could be the conclusion for a NEW Showqueen formation…Les Misses!!!
Then….Dina Delvaux is not a one day butterfly Queen.Organization of the whole evening superb. During and after the show, I did my walk of fame through the audience, and heard not ONE single negative comment. So…La Delvaux, keep it going”.
And SHE DOES….., because this Saturday the 13th she does again like last year’s January a night with Dina Delvaux and Les Folles De Gand, the showqueen group she is now a part of. Team Pink In Our Lives wishes Dina, the Queens and her team a lot of encouragement to continue, and we see you all again!!! Very soon!!! ;o)
