The photographer and Art Director Elliot James Freize mission is to end homophobia and transphobia in sport and to activate the athletic community to exercise their leadership to champion LGBTQ equality. Now in its 6th year with 6 calendars, 2 art books and a global exhibition under its belt, Red Hot’s mission is to ‘rebrand the ginger male stereotype’ and champion the idea we all should celebrate what makes us unique.
As part of its diversity movement and global anti-bullying campaign, Red Hot has raised over £55,000 for various charities and good causes including The Diana Award and the Terrence Higgins Trust. Their motto is: ‘Be Proud Of Who You Are’.
This year’s calendar raises funds for Athlete Ally, a charity that believes that everyone should have equal access, opportunity, and experience in sports — regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
