Yesterday landed the annual Gala Event ShowQueen Awards again in Sint-Niklaas/Belgium and many people from the showqueen world, fans, showqueens, press, dancers, designers and many more people were present to find out who will be the NEW Show Queen of the year 2018.

A big review of the evening will soon be published here, but we want to let you know already the winners (US included as well YASSSSS) and to congratulate them all with their victories. We are proud of all the contestants, who gave their best and tried to entertain the audience. Like Mother Star says ending her reign as Show Queen 2017; “Be thankful and grateful that people wanna pay to see guys in a dress lipsyncing”. Nonetheless we say variety in every category and look forward to see and hear of all the candidates. Good luck to you all!!!

WE ARE SO HAPPY!!! First of all thank you thank u to the organization for the nomination of Pink In Our Lives and to everybody who have voted for us!!! I started with Pink In Our Lives in my free time, because it was time for something fun, informative and positive for our LGBTI community. There is too much negativity in the world ? like homophobia, gaybashing, envy and hatred etc. Besides that I also wanted to do something for our community and to support the people that do something within and outside our community. To give them a platform and to promote Clubs, Pride organizations, ShowQueens and LGBT Icons and many other important businesses. We are extra grateful to win this LGBT Publicity Award 2018 after 5 years of hard work at the ShowQueenAwards, because with Pink In Our Lives we do a lot for the Showqueen/Dragqueen world. I could not do this without my man René Emmerink (photographer), freelance writer Lex Decrans AKA Miss Lola McQueen (Miss Deaf World Beauty 2017) and off course my very own and the one and only Showqueen reporter Christiaan D’Hooghe. Without their support I couldn’t have done it for 5 years and hopefully for more years to come. Very proud and THANK YOU all so much ?????? p.s.: Also THANK YOU also for nominating us as a couple #TheMiddletons for BEST DRESSED last night. Proud to be in the top with all these gorgeous ShowQueens.
